Naval Shipbuilding College celebrates partnership with In Travel Group during NAIDOC week
The Naval Shipbuilding College would like to acknowledge their Indigenous travel agency and partner, In Travel during NAIDOC week.
The College’s Program Director Bill Docalovich said the businesses formed their partnership in 2018.
“We chose to support and partner with a young, emerging Indigenous business which aligned with the goals of the Naval Shipbuilding College,’’ he said.
“The College is focused on developing in-country capabilities and employment and we saw In Travel as an ideal match.
“Integral to our national strategy is regular travel across Australia to engage, inspire and educate a diverse group of stakeholders.
“Importantly, we need to do this in the most efficient and cost effective way to the taxpayer.
“In Travel have, and continue, to do a fantastic job for us in that regard.’’
In Travel Executive Director Dwayne Good said it was exciting for his company to establish a commercial relationship with a high profile brand such as the Naval Shipbuilding College.
“It really validates our service offering of being a boutique, personalised agency,’’ he said.
“The Naval Shipbuilding College could have easily joined with a much larger agency for their travel needs.
“We are grateful for the opportunity as this helps push us towards our long terms goals of creating employment and internship opportunities for indigenous Australians in the travel industry.’’
